Worth Doing

This year I have cleverly devised an excel spreadsheet that has all of the scriptures to be read in 1 year. I am charging my family (Robert, I, Angel, and Oliver)(is that grammatically correct?) to use and keep up with it. Robert, at least is very excited! Considering that every Sunday is a catch up day, I think we can do it. If we do, we will have read the complete King James Bible, The Book of Mormon, The Doctrine & Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price before the year is out. I've also added memorizing the Articles of Faith, reading talks from the Prophet, reading your Patriarchal Blessing (if you have one), and special reading close to Christmastime. If you'd like to join us, please do so. I will figure out how to post the excel sheet on here if possible; for now, though, you can just email me and I'll send it to you. Also, as this is the first year for such a vast undertaking I don't know how well I organized it or if it is going to be very time intensive or too easy, so I'd love feedback.

And seriously, "Oh, the cleverness of me!" JK!

Happy New Year.

*UPDATE: Let's try this; I posted it on Google docs. Now get to reading, you're behind already!

Very impressive. And ambitious - but good ambitious. I'm borrowing it, although it might not happen this year, but that's because I'm lazy.

April, I think I'll just do it next year when you've worked out all of the bugs. Kind of like buying Windows Vista when it first came out. Why go through the headache? Just wait a year or so until Microsoft fixes all of the errors and THEN you can be state-of-the-art. :) Melani has elbowed me in the side saying that we're going to check it out though. :) Happy New Year!

Congratulations, you successfully overwhelmed me. Given that I attempted to read the Bible in 90 days, and failed, I think I'm going to pass on this one. I consider myself to be on track with reading 1-2 chapters a night.

Good luck!
